We’re taking Igbo practice out of our heads and straight into the weekend!

As diaspora kids, we know speaking Igbo is about so much more than just speaking it with our parents. It's about connecting with people who get our unique experience. Nkata After Hours is Bido Society’s biggest social yet—we’re taking over The Africa Centre on Friday, July 31st for an evening of music, games, and pure enjoyment.

Whether you’re a fluent speaker or your Igbo starts and ends at "Kedu," this is a 100% judgment-free zone.

The Lineup & What You Get:

🗣️ Reimagined Games (New & Nostalgic): Fun, interactive group games designed to get you talking, laughing, and learning without the stress.

📝 Pocket Cheat Sheets: Worried about forgetting words? We’ve got you. You'll get cheat sheets and prompts to help you on the night and take home to keep your learning going.

🏆 Giveaways & Prizes: We're giving away incredible prizes, from London experiences to delicious food, and tickets to other Igbo events to take your summer to the next level! 🎟️✨

🍹 Free Drinks (For the Early Birds): Happy hour is locked in, plus we have an open tab from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM (or until it runs out—so don't be late!).

🎵 Live DJ: Playing the best tracks all night to keep the energy high.

🍛 Food On-Site: Amazing food will be available to purchase at the venue.
